Traditional home energy audits usually begin with a technician visiting the property to collect information the homeowner may already know. EcoAudit® RES reverses that process.
Using a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer, the homeowner answers guided questions, uploads utility bills, photographs equipment and building conditions, documents completed improvements, and identifies comfort, moisture, or operating concerns.
EcoPlatform™ then applies Contract-First Architecture, building science, engineering expertise, and deterministic analysis to compare the documented home against its engineering baseline, identify where energy is being wasted, and prioritize the improvements that will produce the greatest benefit.
Can I complete the home energy audit from my phone?

EcoPlatform™ then analyzes the submitted information using Contract-First Architecture, building science, engineering expertise, and deterministic analysis. The platform compares the home's documented characteristics against its engineering baseline, determines where performance has been compromised, and prioritizes the improvements that will have the greatest impact.
Specialized testing or additional technical analysis may still be used when a specific condition must be measured or verified. Those services are targeted to answer a defined technical question rather than being used as a general information-gathering visit.
What happens after the residential energy audit?

Can the audit identify tax-credit or rebate opportunities?
EcoAudit® can organize information relevant to federal residential energy tax credits, utility rebates, state programs, local incentives, and other energy-efficiency opportunities. Actual eligibility depends on the home, equipment, project, location, installation date, contractor, certification requirements, and current program rules.
How are completed home improvements used later?
